How does the Coronavirus, 2020, an End-Time Shift, and the Glorious Church all relate? In this special Prophetic Perceptive we will share:

Why these relate to the end-times and this new decade.
A glimpse into what the days ahead will be like.
3 Things you should do to prepare.
The proper end-time mindset to have going forward.

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is indeed a historic virus. In our lifetime we have not seen such global impact on society (and churches) as a whole. I’ll share how this all fits into the end-time picture and how we should respond. First, let’s look at the bigger picture and how this relates to you and the days ahead.

“New Day” Context
During the previous decade we (Cindy and I) have prophetically proclaimed that “A New Day is Dawning.” Then, in the fall of 2019,  we sensed a New Day was not just dawning but “
a New Day was now upon us!” You may also have noticed an Enews we sent out declaring “Change is coming, and we are getting ready!” This not only pertained to Victory Today Church, but believe it was a prophetic proclamation for the Church and the nations. This New Day brings with it both good news and bad news for some, but great hope and expectation for God’s people.

Here’s why…

2020/Decade = End-time Shift
The last couple years I have been sensing and saying “2020 begins an End-time Shift.” I believe we will see things ramping up and moving towards a full out biblical end-times, possibly later in the decade and beyond. It will be like the sun setting on one age and the sun rising on another, a new day and new age. A new day that will bring about a Kingdom transition and lead us into a whole new glorious age when Christ returns!

Now, I am in not setting dates for Christ’s return. But, I do know this with great certainty — the days ahead will be filled with both bad and good, both dread and wonder, both dark and glorious (Isaiah 60:1-2). The days ahead will be intense – we will see things happening at a level greater than what we have grown up with and are accustomed to. The reality is — everything will be changing. Already, this seems to be the case as we have entered into 2020.

Jesus Said This Was Coming
Jesus’ disciples asked Him about the signs of His coming and the end of the age (end-times). Part of His reply was “Nation will rise against nation, and Kingdom against Kingdom. And, there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains (Mt. 24:7–8).”

Signs of the End-times have been occurring for decades. So, what makes 2020 and this new decade different? I believe the level of historic happenings will continue to build into full-end time reality over the decade, and beyond.

The Coronavirus = One of the Signs
Much of what has already occurred this year 2020 has people wondering if Bible prophecy (such as Revelation 6) has begun. One related article was titled List of 10 plagues that are hitting our planet simultaneously.”
They first state that “2020 has certainly started off with quite a bang” then their list of ”10 plagues” included:

• Historic army of Locusts across Africa to Asia
• Extremely Bizarre Weather Pattern
• Unprecedented Flooding
• Increased Frequency of Major Earthquakes
• Unusual Volcanic Eruptions
• The Coronavirus
• Listed 4 other viruses

Is the Coronavirus Part of Revelation 6?
While the Coronavirus is historic in impact – I would not call the Coronavirus a Biblical level pestilence or plague. Biblical level pestilence or plagues typically have very high death rates. In comparison the Coronavirus has a relatively low death rate (according to reports). However, the Coronavirus has had biblical like global impact.

So personally, I would call the Coronavirus, along with the historic army of locusts, other extreme happenings as “signs” of the end-times. Signs of things to come at a greater magnitude as things ramp up and continue into a full “End-times” reality.

How?

The End-Times Build Up Will Come in Waves
We believe more “signs” will actually come like waves. They will build and increase in frequency and intensity. Jesus Himself described this to be like ”birth pains” of a woman giving birth (Mt. 24:8). When a pregnant woman goes into labor the contractions are typically light and far apart. The closer she gets to the actual birth of the child, the birth pains increase in both frequency and intensity until the child is brought forth, often with great pain and pressure. This aligns with Jesus’ description of the End-times, and this child coming forth will be the birth of a brand new age as we transition into a new Kingdom. When Christ’s Kingdom ruling over all becomes reality!

So the End-times will gradually build and come in waves. I believe we will see overlapping waves — not just waves of the signs Jesus spoke off, but also waves of new levels of both darkness and waves with new levels of glory (Isa. 60:1-2). A glimpse of that is next.

A Glimpse Into the Future
So, what does the future look like? Some have said it’s going to be great judgment. Others have said we are going to see great glory. Which is it? The answer is it will be both!

Years ago the Lord declared through Cindy by prophetic song that the days ahead will be “Days of Wonder and Days of Dread.” Here’s part of it:

“Great things, Grave things, will be happening,
All at the same time – intertwined…
Great things in My Church.
Grave things in the earth.
All in line, with the seasons and the time.”
You can read the full and insightful prophetic word here.

The days of “normal” as we know it will be fading away. And, as we have been saying for years, Church as usual will be coming to an end. (Note: more details of what and why will be revealed in our upcoming book “Rise of Glorious Church!”). The days ahead we will see Isaiah 60:1-2 in action. Habakkuk 1:5 also prophetically speaks of these things “Look at the nations and watch – and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if it were told you.”

Here’s the truth: as we see the gross darkness increase in the world, the Glorious Church of Jesus Christ will also arise to counter that darkness at the same time. All this will be setting up the final 3 1/2 years of this age when Christ returns, conquers the Anti-christ, and then sets up His millennial reign!

Not a Time to Fear
As you consider all the above I want to encourage you — this is not a time to fear, but rather a time to prepare, rejoice and know a new day is upon us! A new age is about to be birthed! As Jesus exhorted “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near (Luke 21:28).”

Also remember 2 Timothy 1:7 – “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” We are never to be motivated by fear, but rather by faith, hope and love (1 Cor. 13).

3 Things You Should Do To Prepare:
Three things I highly recommend as things unfold over this new decade:

1. Draw Very Near to God (Psalm 91)
God has repeatedly told us to tell His people to “stay very close to Me.” Psalm 91 promises protection, including from plagues/pestilence, for those abiding under the shadow of His wings (very close to Him).

This is also critical for you and your family because as darkness increases, so does great deception. If God’s people are not walking and staying close to Him and in His Word, they will fall prey to deception as we enter into these intense times.

2. Walk Circumspectly with Wisdom
Ephesians 5: 15-20 exhorts us to “Walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” When it comes to the Coronavirus and future such happenings. Do not panic (fear not). Be cautious, use wisdom and good old common sense (sound mind). When we respond and operate out of fear rather than wisdom, peace and faith, we will make the wrong decisions, and some of those decisions can cost us dearly. Let the Word of God and peace of the Holy Spirit be your guide.

One example of this is we should not “panic buy” items and be “hoarding” for self. We should always have a good supply of water, food, and emergency prep items on hand for our families. But we should also be thinking beyond self. Imagine giving extra drinking water, food, and other necessities for others in need. What a great opportunity to minister to the needs of others and open their hearts to the Gospel and light of Christ.

So prepare and be ready to shine as a great light. This will require what we call End-time Church “Night Vision.” More about what that means in a future blog.

3. Have The Proper End-Time Paradigm
This subject really requires a whole series of messages (coming soon). Having the proper mindset and perspective is critical as it will determine how you navigate, whether in fear or in faith.
Sadly it seems most of the American Church view of the End-times is “I’m not going to be here, so I don’t need to worry about!” I submit to you that is not the proper Biblical mindset to have. This is not a time to be “rapture or escape-minded” we need to rather be “Kingdom of God” minded. Yeshua/Jesus Christ is coming back for a victorious “glorious” Church and Bride (Eph. 5:25-27). He’s not coming back for a bride that is fear ridden and defeated. The End-times will actually be the churches finest hour!

There is a 180 degree End-Time Paradigm Shift we teach that I believe will give you a fresh new perspective and cause you to see the end-times in a whole new light! Instead of seeing a time of dread and fear, you will see great purpose and live in great faith, hope and expectation! This new Biblical End-Time Paradigm will also cause you to never see your life on earth the same again!

We will be sharing key parts of this new 180 degree Biblical End-Time Paradigm Shift in future blogs and in our upcoming book “Rise of the Glorious Church”! We also plan to provide a special complete End-times series on the new Biblical Paradigm and teaching regarding the End-times, Rapture, Antichrist, Big Picture view from today to the coming Millennial Kingdom Age of Christ’s Reign on Earth. We can hardly wait to share it with you!

The Final Word
This year 2020 begins a new decade that I believe has triggered an End-time shift. As we move through this year, we will continue to see things ramping up, becoming more intense and more frequent as we move into the second half of the decade and beyond.

This is the most exciting time ever for the Church to be alive, unashamed and unafraid! As we witness the sunset of one age and the sunrise of a new day, and whole new glorious Kingdom age!
