Did you know that God commanded the light —His glory, to shine out of darkness? We see this revealed in 2 Corinthians 4:6.  And, today I believe there is a call and a command going forth to the sons and daughters of God throughout the nations to turn up the light of Christ within in them.

When the light shines into the darkness, it will overtake, overwhelm, expose and expel the lies and works of the wicked one and captives will be set free.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. 2 Corinthians 4:6-7

This is a critical time for us to hear the cry of the Spirit. We cannot just sit and lick our wounds from the battles we’ve been through these past few years. We must allow the life and light of Christ to shine into those places of pain and disappointment and watch as He works all these things together for good, and releases and reveals His Glory in and through them!

The truth is Satan is working hard to keep you and the Church of Jesus Christ oppressed, depressed, discouraged, sick and confused, but most of all he wants to keep you blinded to the truth. He wants to bury you and the Church of Jesus Christ so that light cannot shine.

Satan knows that once you understand the power of God at work in you, your true identity and the authority you have been given, you become an unstoppable force and a serious threat to the Kingdom of Darkness. No longer will you be his prey to devour at will, but instead he becomes yours, he becomes the hunted!

I find this scripture in Ephesians 3:20 so intriguing as it seems to reveal a secret about the power working in us as believers. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. That power working is Christ in us, His Word, His Spirit and our faith actively engaging.

We can no longer hide the glory of Christ – this treasure in earthen vessels.  It’s time to let it out, let it shine into the darkness all around us! Matthew 5:14 tells us that we are the light of the world, and we are like a city that is set on a hill that cannot be hidden. When the light within us becomes so bright that it can no longer be hidden, it will begin to impact and affect everything around us.

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. – Colossians 1:27 NKJV

So how do we turn up the light in us? Like never before we must forcefully and intentionally press into the presence of God and His word. Satan knows that God alone is our power and light source, thus He is fighting intensly to keep you from it! Your instensity and fervency must be greater than your enemy!

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. – Matthew 11:12 NKJV

When the light, which is Christ Jesus, arises in us, the darkness is scattered and the enemy of our souls is literally terrorized by the power of God working in and through us. We saw this with the Ark of the Covenant which represented the Shekinah — the manifest presence of God. When the Glory went before the Children of Israel, it struck terror into the Kingdom of darkness – and the enemies of God were destroyed. They were no match for the Glory of God.

Our main focus needs to be on turning up the light! Satan doesn’t mind if you go to Church as long as the light within stays small and it remains hidden and buried. DO NOT let that happen!

Now is the time to stir up and fan into flame the gift of God in you! Stir up your faith, your hunger, your passion, and the fire of God in you! Never let it die or diminish, but let Christ in you shine through like never before! No excuses, lets just do it! It’s up to you, you get to decide what you are going to do with all God has given you!

“Let Christ Shine through you in 2022, In all you think, say and do!”

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as [a]by the Spirit of the Lord.
